River Ranch Businesses to host Fashion Night Out

Lafayette, LA – On Wednesday, September 14, 2011 the River Ranch Business Association, along with their sponsors Moss Motors, Face Magazine and Event Rental will host the second annual “Fashion Night Out at River Ranch.”

This celebration of fashion and the small business that work tirelessly to bring it to Acadiana is free and open to the public.  The evening will feature dozens of unique and exciting in-store events at various shops and businesses throughout the Village of River Ranch.

Meet the New Orleans designers of Jolie and Elizabeth at their official launch party at Hemline, Catch an exciting runway show at Herringstone’s,  or check out the Pajama party and ladies night at 7Chics, River Ranch's newest boutique.  

New this year, the creators of fashion Week New Orleans will be on hand casting models for their Spring 2012 Fashion Week and the many events they host across the Gulf Coast throughout e year..


Many more events are planned and new ones are being announced daily.

Shop Crawl 2011

On Thursday, June 23, the movers and shakers of Lafayette will celebrate food, fashion and fun with their inaugural Summer Shop Crawl in River Ranch featuring great deals at some of Lafayette’s most beloved shops and restaurants.

What’s a Shop Crawl?
An event that combines neighborhood shopping, exclusive sales, food and drink specials! Our shops are offering special deals between the hours of 4 and 8 that you can’t find any other time.

River Ranch business owners to hold supply drive for tornado victims.

photo via weather.comThe River Ranch Business Association is sponsoring a supply drive for Alabama tornado victims on May 20 and 21.

“The media coverage and awareness of the devastation in Alabama has begun to die down but the need is just as imminent as ever,” says Jackie John, owner of Tenzie & Co.  “We have been very fortunate and wanted to use our resources to help our neighbors in their time of need.”

Requested items include diapers, baby formula, paper goods, personal hygiene items, non-perishable food items, etc. 

Items can be dropped off in River Ranch at the corner of River Ranch Blvd. and Rue Promenade (Mainstreet) between 10AM and 6PM on Friday, May 20 and Saturday May 21.
